Reactievat, cilindrisch, gegradueerd met groef in de vlakke flens. Het reactievat is omsloten door een tempereermantel. De tempereermantel heeft twee aansluitstukken (naar keuze GL-schroefdraadaansluiting [GL 14 of GL 18] of kogelvlakflensverbinding [kogel-kom; KF 15 of KF 25]). In de bodem van het reactievat is een aftapkraan geïntegreerd. Reactievaten tot 6 liter met een kraanopening-Ø van 10 mm; vanaf 10 liter met een kraanopening-Ø van 20 mm. Het vlakflens-reactievat wordt afgesloten met een apart verkrijgbaar deksel. Beide delen worden bij elkaar gehouden door een klemring. Een afdichtingsring of het gebruik van slijpvet voorkomt het vastklemmen van de slijpvlakken. Geschikte siliconen- en FEP-afdichtingsringen zijn apart verkrijgbaar. Het vlakflensvat kan door middel van verschillende standaard slijpstukken in het deksel met andere componenten (bijv. koelers, roerassen en druppeltrechters) worden gecombineerd.Toepassingsgebieden: preparatief werk, zoals reacties, distillaties en verdampingen.
