Reactievat, cilindrisch, met maatverdeling en groef in de vlakke flens. Het reactievat is voorzien van een tempereermantel. De tempereermantel heeft twee aansluitstukken (naar keuze GL-schroefdraadaansluiting [GL 14 of GL 18] of kogelgewrichtaansluiting [kogel-kogel; KF 15 of KF 25]). In de bodem van het reactievat is een aftapkraan ingebouwd. Reactievaten tot 6 liter met een kraanopening Ø van 10 mm; vanaf 10 liter met een kraanopening Ø van 20 mm. Het reactievat met vlakke flens wordt afgesloten met een deksel dat afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar is. Beide delen worden bij elkaar gehouden door een klemring. Een afdichtingsring of het gebruik van slijpvet voorkomt dat de geslepen oppervlakken vastklemmen. Geschikte siliconen en FEP-afdichtingsringen zijn afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar. Het vat met vlakke flens kan via verschillende standaard geslepen verbindingen in het deksel worden gecombineerd met andere componenten (bijv. koelers, roerassen en druppeltrechters). Toepassingsgebieden: preparatief werk, zoals reacties, destillaties en verdampingen.
