Zowel de osmolaliteit als de pH-waarde worden strikt binnen het fysiologische bereik gehouden. Geschikt voor toepassing met humaan, niet-gestold perifeer bloed. In alle betreffende protocollen waarbij oorspronkelijk Ficoll® werd gebruikt, kan dit reagens zonder aanpassing worden vervangen door ROTI®Sep 1077 humaan.
