ROTI®Prep DNA Micro is ontwikkeld voor de isolatie van genomisch DNA uit kleine monsterhoeveelheden van verschillende bronmaterialen. De isolatie is gebaseerd op een nieuwe methode en combineert monsteryse met de daaropvolgende binding van het DNA aan het oppervlak van een kolommembraan. Na diverse was- en centrifugatiestappen wordt het DNA van het membraan geëlueerd met behulp van een elutiebuffer.

Ethanol 99,8 % (p.a., art.nr. 9065), RNase-vrij water (art.nr. 1HPE.1), 1,5 ml reactiebuisjes (art.nr. 1KPA.1) en RNase A (optioneel, art.nr. 7156.1) zijn niet in de kit inbegrepen en dienen indien nodig apart te worden besteld.
