Screw cap SK N13-L is an N 13 polypropylene screw closure for laboratory vials that require a septa-equipped open-top cap. The black PP shell is combined with a white silicone / blue PTFE septum that is cross-slit for easier needle penetration during sampling or injection. Septum hardness is 45° Shore A and septum thickness is 1,5 mm, giving a defined sealing interface for routine analytical work. The centre hole in the cap allows syringe access while the layered silicone/PTFE face is oriented for chemical contact on the PTFE side as indicated by the blue PTFE layer.
