Schiff´s reagent has a wide spectrum of application in PAS reaction (Periodic Acid Schiff reaction), in combined alcian blue PAS staining and as a reagent for detecting aldehydes.
Notes on storage
Store at room temperature in the dark. After the bottle has been opened store well-sealed. Discard the solution if it turns reddish.
