The initially non-sticking adhesive is activated by applying pressure to the PCR plate for optimum sealing, while the area directly above the well remains unchanged. The high visual clarity at these points ensures reproducible results. Suitable for ELISA, real-time qPCR applications, quantitative DNA amplifications, protein crystallisation, HPLC and long-term storage.
