Beschreibung

SenTix® 980 is an IDS pH electrode with a glass shaft, liquid electrolyte (3 mol/l KCl) and a platinum diaphragm for general laboratory pH measurement. An integrated temperature sensor records sample temperature together with pH. The electrode is QSC-capable, holds up to ten calibrations in memory and carries a stored serial number for clear identification and documentation. A fixed 1,5 m cable with digital plug connects directly to MultiLine® and inoLab® IDS instruments, providing a ready-to-use digital link without additional adapters. Supplied as a single unit from manufacturer WTW – a Xylem brand, the sensor is intended for aqueous samples in routine analytical and research work. Net weight is approximately 0,27 kg. Liquid KCl electrolyte and the platinum diaphragm support stable junction performance across a wide range of laboratory applications where a classic refillable glass electrode is preferred.

Questions about SenTix® 980, IDS pH combination electrode with liquid electrolyte, glass shaft a

What is this article?

SenTix® 980, IDS pH combination electrode with liquid electrolyte, glass shaft a is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Präzisionsinstrumente.

A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
