Material: PC. Autoclavable: yes.
For simple and safe production of slant agar with two different inclination angles, for incubating liquid tissue cultures and for use in a water bath (not floating). Tubes containing culture media can be autoclaved in the rack in an upright position.
- Slanted rack enables tilting at an inclination angle of 5° or 20° so that culture media can harden at an angle
- 5° inclination angle: larger surface, e.g. for aerobic cultures
- 20° inclination angle: smaller surface, e.g. for anaerobic cultures; reduces the risk of culture media drying out during long-term storage
