Xplorer® plus 0,5–10 µL is an eight-channel electronic air-cushion pipette developed for efficient multi-well work that demands simplicity, precision and day-to-day reproducibility. The variable volume range of 0,5 to 10 µL and medium-grey colour coding make it instantly recognisable on the bench. Intuitive operation is provided by a multifunctional rocker with “up is up” and “down is down” logic and a selection dial that opens every pipetting mode without nested menus. A self-explanatory colour display set at an ergonomic angle remains easy to read from any working position. Spring-loaded tip cones on all channels up to 1 000 µL reduce the force required for tip attachment. The powerful battery supports up to eight hours of continuous pipetting and allows the instrument to remain fully functional while charging from the mains. Pre-programmed as well as individual adjustment options compensate for external factors such as geographic altitude, high-density liquids or elongated tips. Autoclavable lower parts facilitate quick decontamination. Nine display languages, custom programming, fixed-volume settings, password protection, an on/off switch, additional applications and maintenance-interval display round out the capabilities of this model from manufacturer Eppendorf.
