Semi-synthetic third generation cephalosporin derivate. Cefsulodin interferes with peptidoglycan layer composition during cell wall synthesis and is effective against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Also active against anaerobes. Stable against cleavage by β-lactamase.
