ROTI®Stock 20 % SDS, BioScience-Grade, ready-to-use, filtered (0,2 µm), Density (D) ~1 g/cm³, Boiling point (bp) ~100 °C, Storage temp. +15 to +25 °C
Sterile
20 % stock solution sodium dodecyl sulphate.
Store the solution away from light in a dry place. SDS stock solution and other solutions containing SDS can precipitate easily at room temperature. The crystals can be resolubilised by brief heating them between 30 to 45 °C. Prolonged heating above 30 °C should be avoided, otherwise hydrolysis of the SDS and formation of fatty alcohols may occur.
