SONOREX K 1 C immersion basket is a stainless steel accessory intended for holding sonication goods inside ultrasonic cleaning baths. During ultrasonic operation nothing should rest directly on the tank floor, as abrasion can occur between the load and the oscillating tank; a matching basket is therefore recommended. BANDELIN baskets are constructed so that the goods remain in the optimal cavitation zone, approximately 1–2 cm above the bottom. Internal dimensions are 120 × 110 × 40 mm. The basket also permits convenient insertion and removal of the load for subsequent rinsing without the operator contacting the liquid in the tank. Supplied by manufacturer Bandelin as a single package unit, this immersion basket supports safe, reproducible ultrasonic processing of laboratory samples and components while protecting both the tank surface and the items being cleaned. Its stainless-steel construction ensures durability under repeated laboratory use.
