Description

Heating jacket for cell culture flask MyFerm 2000 ml enables uniform, constant and homogeneous tempering of MyFerm reaction vessels and fermenters via the outer mantle, without the need for elaborate double-walled vessels. Temperatures can be selected freely within the technical specifications to simulate a wide range of operating conditions, and the system may be run with an internal or an external sensor as required. Heating output is approximately 120 W at 230 V AC, with a permanently installed PT-100 sensor. Leads measure 1,5 m and connect via a diode plug for the PT-100; the jacket is fastened with a silicone band. It is dimensioned for a vessel diameter of approximately 136 mm and a jacket height of 150 mm, suited to the MyFerm 2000 ml format. The required controller is L14020TER. Offered by manufacturer Landgraf HLL as a single piece, this heating jacket supports flexible thermal control for cell culture flasks and reaction vessels in research and process development laboratories.

This article is part of Cell culture flasks, in Cell culture.

Questions about Heating collar for cell culture flask MyFerm 2000 ml

What is this article?

Heating collar for cell culture flask MyFerm 2000 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Cell culture flasks, inside Cell culture, in Microbiology lab supplies.

A culture flask is a flat vessel with a cap, treated so adherent cells attach, or untreated for suspension cells. Growth area in square centimetres, the cap filter or a plug seal, and the treatment are the specification. A filter cap allows gas exchange. A plug seal does not.

Cell culture grows cells outside the body. The medium, often with serum, supplies what the flask does not. A flask or a dish is the vessel, treated so the cells attach or left untreated so they float. Contamination by microbes, or by another cell line, is the ordinary failure. Cold-chain articles in this work, including serum, are never part of free standard delivery. Lines are catalogued by ATCC. Papers are on PubMed. Practice is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic.
