Description
BRANDplates® cellGrade™ 384-well microtiter plate is a sterile polystyrene (PS) multiwell plate intended for cell culture use. This standard-format plate has a white body, flat F-bottom wells and a well volume of 100 µl, making it suitable for luminescence and other assays where a reflective white background is preferred. The cellGrade™ surface supports adherent cell culture under BIO-CERT® CELL CULTURE QUALITY. Providing 384 sample positions on a standard microplate footprint, it fits high-throughput screening, parallel culture layouts and instrumentation such as plate readers and automated liquid handlers. White polystyrene helps maximise signal return in optical detection methods, while the flat bottom geometry aids uniform cell distribution on the well base. Supplied sterile in packs of 50 from manufacturer Brand, the plates are ready for aseptic laboratory workflows in research and applied cell-based testing environments that require dense, consistent multiwell formats.

What is this article?
Microplate, cellGrade, 384-well, PS, Standard, white,'F'bottom 100 µl 50 pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Brand for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.
A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.
A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
