Description

Equipment package Q90 is a complete interior configuration for laboratory safety cabinets, combining three standard pull-out trays, one disposal pull-out tray, and a dedicated floor collection tray. The standard pull-out trays are made of stainless steel 1.4301 with right-hand door stop, each rated for 25 kg load capacity and 5 l volume. The disposal pull-out tray is likewise stainless steel 1.4301 with right-hand door stop, offering a higher load capacity of 50 kg and a volume of 7,5 l for waste or bulk containers. The STAWA-R floor collection tray, produced from stainless steel 1.4016, is designed specifically for use with disposal pull-out trays and provides 22 l secondary containment. This matched set from manufacturer Asecos enables clear separation of storage and disposal functions inside Q90 cabinets. Net weight is 36,000 kg. Robust stainless steel construction supports chemical resistance and routine cleaning in laboratory environments. The package is supplied as a single unit and ships only together with the main cabinet article, ex works Gründau, making it a practical choice for organised hazardous-material workflows.

Questions about Equipment packages Q90

What is this article?

Equipment packages Q90 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes asecos for laboratory use. It sits in Safety cabinet accessories & equipment packages, inside Safety cabinets & hazardous storage, in Lab safety equipment.

Cabinet accessories are the shelves, the sumps, the earthing leads and the vent kits a safety cabinet is completed with. A shelf from a different cabinet width does not fit. A vent kit is what connects the cabinet to an exhaust, and it is not optional when the cabinet was specified that way.

A safety cabinet keeps a dangerous liquid in a box that is meant to resist fire or to contain a spill for a stated time. The cabinet is chosen by what is stored: flammables, corrosives, or both, in the volume that will actually be in the room. A spill tray is the smaller version of the same idea. A fume cupboard is different: it is airflow that carries vapour away from the face. The rule for equipment worn or used to protect people is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is discussed by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP.
