close-it food & pharma Maxi seal is a large-format closure seal developed for hygienic resealing after sampling in food and pharmaceutical environments. The 150 x 150 mm Maxi format covers larger holes or longer tears in containers and sustainably prevents bulk material from trickling out once sampling is complete. Its adhesive is approved for food contact and meets European food guidelines, with adhesion performance comparable to the proven original close-it seal from manufacturer Bürkle. An aluminium foil barrier layer is integrated as in the original design, supporting applications that demand particular purity. The seals are suitable for sampling foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food supplements, and can also be used with frozen goods. Developed in line with FDA guideline principles and aimed specifically at pharma and food use, this yellow Maxi variant supports clear visual identification on the line or in the lab.
