Description
The PH850-MS portable pH meter is a compact, user-friendly instrument for determining pH, ORP (electrode available separately, e.g. 301Pt-C) and temperature. It is designed especially for small sample volumes and narrow vessels such as test tubes. The included LabSen® 243-6 pH/temperature electrode has a slender construction that permits measurement of volumes down to 200 µl, and even to 60 µl with a suitable tube; it operates at temperatures up to 100 °C and incorporates a sensor for automatic temperature compensation (ATC). Protected by a silicone sleeve and rated IP57 water- and dust-tight, the meter from manufacturer APERA Instruments is well suited to field use in harsh environments. A fold-out stand supports comfortable indoor operation. Rapid 1- to 3-point automatic calibration, a large backlit LCD displaying pH and temperature plus calibration data, and self-diagnosis functions streamline routine work. Ranges cover pH 0,00–14,00 (resolution 0,1/0,01, accuracy ±0,01 ±1 digit), mV ±1000 and temperature 0–100 °C. Powered by three AA batteries, the unit measures 88×170×33 mm and weighs 313 g (with case 360×270×76 mm / 1,3 kg). Delivery includes the PH850 meter, LabSen® 243-6 electrode, calibration solutions pH 4,00/7,00/10,01 (50 ml each), screwdriver, manual and carrying case.
