Sartobind® Q Capsule 800 mL with 8 mm bed height is a strong ion exchanger capsule for chromatographic polishing in biopharmaceutical workflows. The 800 mL format with an 8 mm bed height supports removal of viruses, DNA, host cell proteins, leached Protein A and endotoxins during monoclonal antibody purification. Because size exclusion effects are negligible, the membrane adsorber is also suited for purification of viruses such as adeno- or lentiviruses and displays one order of magnitude higher dynamic binding capacity for these larger targets. This capsule configuration from manufacturer Sartorius is supplied as a single piece, with a net weight of 1,300 kg and a gross weight of 3,060 kg. The Q chemistry provides strong anion-exchange functionality for polishing steps that require efficient impurity clearance.
