Description

B10Z behropur cartridge, unpressurised, is a larger ion-exchange VE cartridge for laboratory and technical full demineralisation of water under non-pressurised conditions. Within the behropur range it provides higher capacity in a pressureless cartridge format for continuous production of demineralised process water. The unit is supplied as one piece with a gross weight of 9,80 kg and ships in packaging of 0,22 m width, 0,22 m depth and 0,52 m height, corresponding to a packaging volume of 0,025168 m³. Made in Germany by manufacturer Behr, the B10Z cartridge is intended for ion-exchange and water full-demineralisation duties in analytical sample preparation, rinsing and general laboratory use where fully demineralised water is needed without pressurised cartridge housings. Its taller, compact footprint supports efficient bench or plant integration in systems designed for unpressurised operation. Laboratories select this format when a robust, exchangeable demineraliser cartridge is required to maintain stable water quality at the point of use.

This article is part of Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, in SPE & sample preparation.

Questions about B10Z behropur water de-ioniser, gravity flow cartridge

What is this article?

B10Z behropur water de-ioniser, gravity flow cartridge is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Behr for laboratory use. It sits in Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

Loose sorbent, silica gel and ion-exchange resin are the phases bought in bulk to pack a column or to stir into a solution. Particle size and activity, or the ion-exchange capacity, are the specification. A TLC silica and a flash silica of different particle sizes are not the same separation.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
