Description

BOLA bottle top distributor GL 45 is a laboratory bottle cap distributor with a black PPS screw cap for GL 45 bottle threads and a PTFE distributor body. This version provides two UNF 1/4'' 28G internal-thread connections and is dimensioned for tubing of 0,8 mm inner diameter by 1,6 mm outer diameter, with a 0,8 mm through bore. An elastic sealing lip and rear O-ring compensate for uneven bottle necks and close the vessel tightly. By design the medium contacts only the PTFE distributor body, while the body can rotate independently of the screw cap so the full assembly can be moved to another vessel without twisting attached tubing. The PTFE/PPS construction from manufacturer Bohlender offers very good chemical resistance and is specified for working temperatures up to +200 °C. Net weight is 0,09 kg. Supplied as 1 piece, the distributor supports multi-line liquid handling on GL 45 reagent bottles in analytical and preparative laboratory setups.

What is this article?

BOLA Distributors for Bottles, GL 45 UNF1/4''G 28 Ø 0,8x1,6mm PTFE/PPS, with is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle accessories (pouring rings, dispensers, caps), inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

Bottle accessories are the pieces on the neck: a pouring ring, a dispenser seat, a cap liner, a tamper ring. They decide how the bottle delivers and whether the closure still matches after the original cap is gone.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
