Description
BOLA Flex tubing NW 8 is an extremely flexible corrugated PFA hose for laboratory and process fluid lines. Circular waves arranged concentrically around the longitudinal axis give high flexibility, while 40 mm long cylindrical end pieces allow direct connection to fittings, stopcocks or olives. The hose is 1,0 m long, with an outer diameter of 8 mm, an inner diameter of 6 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm. Used with BOLA laboratory screw joints, the joint is completely tight and vacuum-compatible. A bend radius of 15 mm and a maximum pressure load of 2 bar support compact routing without compromising integrity. Manufactured from perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA), this flexible tubing from manufacturer Bohlender combines chemical resistance with mechanical pliability for demanding transfer tasks. The cylindrical ends ease installation and help ensure a reliable seal. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,057 kg, it is suitable for sampling, reagent delivery and general laboratory fluid handling where inert fluoropolymer tubing is preferred.

Questions about BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 8 1,0m x Ø 8 mm x Ø 6 mm PFA, very flexible, with cylin
What is this article?
BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 8 1,0m x Ø 8 mm x Ø 6 mm PFA, very flexible, with cylin is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
