Description
BOLA GT stirrer seals NS 29/32 GL 25 for 8 mm shafts combine a borosilicate glass ground-joint body with a precisely guided PTFE guide sleeve and an integrated special seal, closed by a GL screw cap in PPS. The special seal, made of PTFE with an FPM O-ring, is tensioned by controlled pressure from the GL screw cap so that the stirrer shaft is sealed reliably during use. After wear the seal can be exchanged without difficulty, supporting long service life in laboratory stirring setups. The ground joint follows European standard NS 29/32; the assembly is intended for stirrer shafts of 8 mm diameter, has a total length of approximately 90 mm and uses a GL 25 cap thread. Supplied as a glass/PTFE/FKM construction with a net weight of 0,065 kg, this Bohlender component suits sealed stirring on standard ground-joint apparatus where chemical resistance and replaceable sealing elements are required. Pack size is 1 piece.

Questions about BOLA Glass Stirrer Bearings, NS 29/32 GL 25 Ø 8 mm GLASS/PTFE/FKM
What is this article?
BOLA Glass Stirrer Bearings, NS 29/32 GL 25 Ø 8 mm GLASS/PTFE/FKM is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Lids & seals, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
Lids and seals are the covers of dishes, jars and tanks: a snap lid, a sealing film, a gasket. The seal is doing the work. A lid that only rests on the rim does not contain a volatile liquid.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
