Description
BOLA Laboratory Screw Fittings HT, GL 14, for hose outer diameter 0,8 mm, are high-temperature laboratory screw connections with a black PPS-glass fibre screw cap and SW 17 wrench size. Inner components comprise a PPS clamping ring together with a sealing wedge and sealing plate, both of PTFE. For hose outer diameters smaller than 3 mm an additional FKM O-ring is included; this O-ring does not contact the flow medium. The medium therefore contacts only PTFE, giving good chemical resistance in typical laboratory fluid paths. The fitting is intended for tubing with an outer diameter of 0,8 mm (1/32 in) and uses a GL 14 thread. Net weight is 0,01 kg. These HT screw fittings from manufacturer Bohlender support secure, chemically resistant hose connections on GL ports in analytical and process laboratory setups. Pack size is 1 piece.

Questions about BOLA HT Laboratory Screw Joints, GL 14 Ø 0,8 mm SW 17 Glass-fibre reinforced PPS
What is this article?
BOLA HT Laboratory Screw Joints, GL 14 Ø 0,8 mm SW 17 Glass-fibre reinforced PPS is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
