Description

BOLA Maxi propeller additional blades are solid stirring blades manufactured from PTFE, with clamping fixtures made from a PEEK compound. Multiple blades can be fixed twist-proof on matching BOLA stirrer shafts, allowing free adjustment of mounting height and direction of rotation through the clamp. A matching open-end wrench is included for installation. This variant fits a shaft diameter of 16 mm and provides blade dimensions A–B–C of 140–26–6 mm with wrench size 32. The PTFE construction supports chemically demanding laboratory stirring duties, while the PEEK-compound clamp holds the blade securely on PTFE stirrer shafts. Supplied as 1 piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the blade enables multi-stage or multi-blade propeller arrangements on compatible shafts. Net weight is 0,473 kg. These Maxi propeller additional blades are intended for laboratories configuring PTFE stirrer shafts for mixing, suspension, or circulation tasks where adjustable propeller geometry and robust clamp mounting are required.

What is this article?

BOLA Maxi Propeller Blades, Ø 16 mm a Ø 140 mm for stainless steel shafts jacket is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.

A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
