Description
BOLA Mini pressure retaining valves with UNF 1/4'' 28 G ports provide adjustable pressure retention for laboratory tubing circuits. The flow body is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and carries two internal-thread UNF ¼" 28G connections. The valve itself is constructed from PPS and incorporates an adjusting screw plus lock nut so the application pressure can be set and secured between 0,1 and 5 bar; the factory preset is 1,5 bar. This size is matched to tubing with inner diameter 1,6 mm and outer diameter 3,2 mm (1/16 × 1/8''). Overall outer diameter measures 32 mm and total height is about 50 mm, supporting compact installation. Net weight is 0,0356 kg. Offered as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the design pairs inert PTFE flow paths with a robust PPS adjustment mechanism for mini-scale fluid systems in analytical chemistry, chromatography support and general lab process control where reliable overpressure or back-pressure holding is needed.

Questions about BOLA Mini-Pressure Relief Valves, UNF 1/4'' 28 G, Ø 1,6 x 3,2 mm Pressure range:
What is this article?
BOLA Mini-Pressure Relief Valves, UNF 1/4'' 28 G, Ø 1,6 x 3,2 mm Pressure range: is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
