Description
BOLA Mini manifold blocks with UNF 1/4'' 28G threads are compact PTFE distributor bodies for laboratory fluid handling. Each block provides one inlet and four outlets with internal UNF 1/4'' 28G threads, supporting tubing of 1,6 × 3,2 mm inner × outer diameter (1/16 × 1/8''). The bore diameter is 1,6 mm. This configuration includes four stopcocks with FEP plugs, enabling simple interruption and control of flow at each outlet. Made from chemically resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), the manifold offers inert wetted surfaces suited to analytical and process work. The design comes from manufacturer Bohlender and fits chromatography setups, sample preparation lines, and general laboratory media routing where compact multi-port distribution is required. Net weight is 0,088 kg. Supplied as one piece, the mini manifold integrates into existing UNF 1/4'' 28G tubing systems and helps organise parallel flow paths without bulky fittings. PTFE construction supports use with a wide range of laboratory chemicals where metal contact is undesirable.
This article is part of Stopcocks & valves, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about BOLA Miniature Manifold Blocks, UNF 1/4'' 28G, Ø 1,6 x 3,2 mm PTFE, 4 stopcocks,
What is this article?
BOLA Miniature Manifold Blocks, UNF 1/4'' 28G, Ø 1,6 x 3,2 mm PTFE, 4 stopcocks, is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
