BOLA replacement screw cone caps with GL 18 thread are red laboratory screw caps for hose or tube outer diameters up to 10,0 mm. Manufactured from glass-fibre-reinforced ETFE, each cap has a grippy knurled rim and a hexagon to facilitate firm, controlled tightening on GL 18 fittings. Very good chemical resistance is inherent to the fluoropolymer construction; when used in the intended assembly the process medium contacts only PTFE sealing components of the connection system. These spare screw cone caps support maintenance of leak-tight, chemically resistant laboratory tubing and pipe joints. Supplied as two pieces from manufacturer Bohlender, they fit routine replacement needs on GL 18 ports handling larger tubing up to 10 mm outer diameter. Net weight is 0,013 kg.
