Description

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo (PT 100), Ø 8 mm with 500 mm usable length, is a precision laboratory temperature sensor featuring a PT 100 measuring element in a PTFE-jacketed stainless steel tube (1.4571). The probe body is 8 mm in diameter, the sensing tip measures Ø 6 mm, and a drop-protection ring of Ø 12 mm helps protect the unit against mechanical shock. Connection is provided by a 1,5 m PFA-coated cable terminated with a Lemo® size 1 socket in 4-wire technique, enabling accurate resistance temperature measurement. Typical response times are T50 of 7–12 s and T90 of 14–16 s; overall length is approximately 560 mm. This BOLA probe from manufacturer Bohlender supports temperature monitoring in chemically demanding laboratory and process applications where PTFE encapsulation and stainless steel offer strong corrosion resistance. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,158 kg, it is a robust PT 100 choice with Lemo interface for installations that require extended immersion depth.

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 560 mm PTFE/Stainless Steel, us is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
