Description

BOLA Wear Disc P-MRK is a replaceable wear component for BOLA magnetic stirrer couplings of the P-MRK series. It fits P-MRK couplings with ground joint NS 29/32 for shafts of 8 mm diameter (article C 520-24), P-MRK couplings with ground joints NS 29/32 or NS 45/40 for shafts of 10 mm diameter (articles C 520-28 and C 520-48), and P-MRK couplings with plane flanges DN 40 or DN 50 for shafts of 10 mm diameter (articles C 522-40 and C 522-50). Manufactured from PTFE-PDR, the disc provides a chemically resistant wear interface at the coupling. It is supplied as a pack of three pieces from manufacturer Bohlender. Net weight is 0,01 kg. The disc helps protect mating surfaces during magnetic stirring in laboratory glassware and flanged vessels, supporting stable drive performance across the listed NS and DN connection options. Suitable for laboratory material use wherever P-MRK magnetic stirrer couplings require a dedicated PTFE-PDR wear disc for shaft diameters of 8 mm or 10 mm.

This article is part of Distillation heads, adapters & columns, in Distillation & extraction glassware.

Questions about BOLA Wearing Disc P-MRK, NS29 NS45 DN40 DN50 for BOLA Magnetic Stirrer Head P-MR

What is this article?

BOLA Wearing Disc P-MRK, NS29 NS45 DN40 DN50 for BOLA Magnetic Stirrer Head P-MR is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring & mixing accessories, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.

Stirring accessories are the bosses, the retort clamps and the spare knobs that hold an overhead stirrer over the vessel. The stand has to carry the motor's mass, not only the flask's.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
