Description
Dispenser 20K+, 0,5 - 5,0 ml is a compact bottle-top dispenser engineered for accurate small-volume liquid dosing with excellent chemical resistance. Fabricated from PTFE, borosilicate 3.3, polypropylene and FEP, it provides high reproducibility of dispensings for everyday laboratory applications. The unit fits directly onto GL45 threads, while supplied adapters cover the most common laboratory vessel thread types. Simple cleaning and maintenance keep daily handling efficient. Working conditions include 15 to 40 °C for device and liquid, vapour pressure up to 500 mbar, density up to 2,2 g/cm³ and viscosity up to 500 mm²/s. The bottle is not included. Autoclavable and individually adjusted according to EN-ISO 8655, this instrument from manufacturer Labbox is backed by a 2-year warranty. Nominal volume ranges from 0,5 to 5,0 ml (0,0005–0,005 l) with a net weight of 0,800 kg, making it well suited to precise reagent addition in analytical workflows.

Questions about Bottle top dispenser, 20K+, 0,5 - 5,0 ml
What is this article?
Bottle top dispenser, 20K+, 0,5 - 5,0 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle-top dispensers, inside Liquid handling, in Lab instruments.
A bottle-top dispenser meters a reagent directly from the bottle it is mounted on, by a piston. The volume range and the chemical compatibility of the wetted parts, glass, ceramic, PTFE, are the specification. It is for the same reagent again and again, not for changing liquids every sample.
A piston pipette delivers a set volume of liquid by air displacement or, for viscous and volatile liquids, by positive displacement. A single channel is the ordinary tool. A multichannel repeats the same volume across a row of a plate. A bottle-top dispenser meters reagent from the bottle it sits on. The accuracy is a property of the pipette and of how it is used, which is why calibration and a certificate exist. Piston-operated apparatus is treated under ISO laboratory apparatus. The volume unit sits with the BIPM and NIST.
