Description
Bottle-top dispenser 20K+ covering a nominal volume range of 5,0–50,0 ml provides controlled bottle-top liquid dispensing for everyday laboratory use. Constructed from PTFE, borosilicate 3.3, polypropylene and FEP, the instrument delivers excellent chemical resistance together with high reproducibility of dispensed volumes. It screws directly onto GL45 bottle threads, while the included adapters enable mounting on other common laboratory vessel thread types. Simple cleaning and care, plus autoclavability, support hygienic routine operation. Liquids may be dispensed within a working temperature range of 15 to 40 °C (device and liquid), vapour pressure up to 500 mbar, density up to 2,2 g/cm³ and viscosity up to 500 mm²/s. The bottle itself is not supplied. Every unit from manufacturer Labbox is individually adjusted according to EN-ISO 8655 and is backed by a two-year warranty. Offered as a single piece with a net weight of 0,800 kg, this EASY product type is suited to preparative and analytical dosing tasks that demand durable wetted materials and consistent volume delivery.

Questions about Bottle top dispenser, 20K+, 5,0 - 50,0 ml
What is this article?
Bottle top dispenser, 20K+, 5,0 - 50,0 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle-top dispensers, inside Liquid handling, in Lab instruments.
A bottle-top dispenser meters a reagent directly from the bottle it is mounted on, by a piston. The volume range and the chemical compatibility of the wetted parts, glass, ceramic, PTFE, are the specification. It is for the same reagent again and again, not for changing liquids every sample.
A piston pipette delivers a set volume of liquid by air displacement or, for viscous and volatile liquids, by positive displacement. A single channel is the ordinary tool. A multichannel repeats the same volume across a row of a plate. A bottle-top dispenser meters reagent from the bottle it sits on. The accuracy is a property of the pipette and of how it is used, which is why calibration and a certificate exist. Piston-operated apparatus is treated under ISO laboratory apparatus. The volume unit sits with the BIPM and NIST.
