Description
b.safe Funnel 130 is a laboratory funnel with a diameter of 130 mm for the disposal of liquid waste on collection containers with an S 70 thread. The funnel body is made of PE/PP and mounts securely by means of a freely rotatable cap that is permanently connected to the filling neck, allowing stable attachment to the waste vessel. A removable sieve holds back magnetic stir bars and other solid particles so that only liquids enter the container, and the sieve can be removed for cleaning. The hinged lid reliably retains vapours that may rise from the collection container, supporting safer handling at the waste point. This compact S 70 version from manufacturer Bohlender is supplied without filling-pipe segments or earthing cable and is intended for straightforward laboratory waste collection where solids separation and vapour retention are required. The funnel is offered as a single piece for installation on compatible S 70 collection containers in routine lab workflows.

Questions about b.safe Funnels 130, S 70 - Ø 130 mm made of PE, with sieve and hinged lid
What is this article?
b.safe Funnels 130, S 70 - Ø 130 mm made of PE, with sieve and hinged lid is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, inside Waste disposal, in Lab safety equipment.
A solvent waste cap and a safety funnel close a waste can so vapour does not fill the room, while still letting waste be poured in. The thread has to match the can. A filter and a level indicator are common features. An open beaker of waste solvent is not this article.
Laboratory waste is sorted before it is carried away. A solvent waste can has a cap and often a funnel that limits vapour. A sharps container is rigid and closable. An autoclave bag is for material that will be sterilised before it is ordinary waste. The container has to survive the chemical that goes into it. A bag that dissolves is not a container. Classification of the chemicals is on ECHA. Transport of dangerous goods is the UNECE framework. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
