b.safe Funnel 180 is a conductive PE-EX laboratory funnel for the disposal of liquid waste under controlled conditions. The 180 mm diameter funnel fits an S 70 thread and mounts securely on the collection container by means of a freely rotatable cap fixed to the filling neck. A removable sieve holds back magnetic stir bars and other solids, while the splash guard reduces overflow and splashing during filling. A ball valve helps limit escape of harmful vapours from the vessel. This PE-EX version includes two plug-on fill-pipe segments (Ø 36 mm, useful length 97 mm each) and a 1,5 m earthing cable so qualified personnel can earth the funnel. Mounted fill pipe enables under-surface filling to suppress static charging. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, it suits laboratories that need conductive waste funnels with splash protection and vapour control.
