Description
b.safe Waste Tube is a flexible corrugated hose section for laboratory waste transfer, cut to 1500 mm length with an approximate inner diameter of 13,5 mm and outer diameter of 18 mm. The tube is made from conductive PTFE-EX with a spiral profile on both the inner and outer surfaces, combining chemical resistance with electrostatic dissipation for solvent waste lines. Two unmounted b.safe screw fittings are included to convert the hose ends to female GL25 threads, allowing direct connection to b.safe table feed-throughs or b.safe Waste Caps. A wall-mount hose holder is supplied for tidy routing. Because the fittings ship unassembled, the tube can be shortened on site to the required length and then secured with the enclosed hex key. Offered as one complete set with a net weight of 0,391 kg from manufacturer Bohlender, this waste tube supports modular, cut-to-fit installation in HPLC and general laboratory waste collection setups.
This article is part of Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, in Waste disposal.

Questions about b.safe Waste Tube, L 1500mm, Ø 13,5x18mm, GL25 (f) corrugated tubing Ø 13,5x18mm
What is this article?
b.safe Waste Tube, L 1500mm, Ø 13,5x18mm, GL25 (f) corrugated tubing Ø 13,5x18mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, inside Waste disposal, in Lab safety equipment.
A solvent waste cap and a safety funnel close a waste can so vapour does not fill the room, while still letting waste be poured in. The thread has to match the can. A filter and a level indicator are common features. An open beaker of waste solvent is not this article.
Laboratory waste is sorted before it is carried away. A solvent waste can has a cap and often a funnel that limits vapour. A sharps container is rigid and closable. An autoclave bag is for material that will be sterilised before it is ordinary waste. The container has to survive the chemical that goes into it. A bag that dissolves is not a container. Classification of the chemicals is on ECHA. Transport of dangerous goods is the UNECE framework. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
