Description
Centrifuge 5804 R (EU-IVD) is a refrigerated non-automatic centrifuge with foil keypad, supplied with rotor A-4-44 including adapters for conical 15 mL and 50 mL vessels, for 230 V/50–60 Hz (EU). Maximum conical-vessel capacity per rotor is 16 × 15 mL or 4 × 50 mL. Plate rotors enable centrifugation of MTP, PCR, cell-culture, or deepwell plates of all kinds, while fixed-angle rotors support high-speed applications with vessels from 0,2 mL to 85 mL. Speeds reach up to 20 913 × g (14 000 rpm). Comfortable lid lock, a low 29 cm loading height, quiet running, and a compact size support efficient bench use; automatic rotor and imbalance detection add safety. The instrument is intended for separation of liquid substance mixtures from the human body and specifically as an accessory used together with an in-vitro diagnostic to enable that IVD’s intended purpose. It meets the requirements of EU IVDR 2017/746. Eppendorf centrifuges are for indoor use by trained personnel only. A cooling unit is present. Net weight 80 kg, gross weight 96,200 kg, packaging volume 0,420 m³; origin Germany (Saxony). This EU-IVD refrigerated package from manufacturer Eppendorf suits regulated diagnostic sample-preparation settings.

Questions about Centrifuge 5804 R/230V A-4-44+Adap.
What is this article?
Centrifuge 5804 R/230V A-4-44+Adap. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Rotors, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.
A centrifuge rotor is the rotating part that holds the tubes, and it is rated for a maximum speed and a maximum load. A swing-out rotor and a fixed-angle rotor pellet differently. A rotor from another centrifuge does not belong on this drive, even when it seems to fit.
A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
