Description

Chamber furnace CWF 11/5 with basic controller EPC3016P1 is a compact laboratory chamber furnace designed for controlled heating up to a maximum temperature of 1100 °C. The working chamber provides a volume of 4,7 l with internal dimensions of 135 × 140 × 250 mm (H × W × D), suited to smaller sample loads and routine thermal work. External dimensions measure 585 × 375 × 485 mm (H × W × D), allowing convenient bench placement. The furnace connects to a 230 V, 50 Hz supply and has a power rating of 2,4 kW. Temperature control is managed by a PID controller offering one ramp to the setpoint together with a 99-hour timer function that can be programmed as delayed start or countdown timer. Optional upgrades for this unit from manufacturer Carbolite Gero include the CC-T1 touchscreen controller (1 zone) and digital overtemperature protection (OPTOTCF) for added process safety. Questions about Chamber Furnace CWF 11/5 1100°C, 5 litre Basisregler EPC3016P1

What is this article?

Chamber Furnace CWF 11/5 1100°C, 5 litre Basisregler EPC3016P1 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carbolite Gero for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
