Description
close-it closure seal, 95 x 95 mm, blue is a dedicated closure label for resealing sacks, cartons, big bags and comparable bulk containers after sampling. Holes left by sampling lances can allow free-flowing bulk goods to leak; this blue close-it seal prevents that loss in a straightforward way. Built as an aluminium/paper sandwich, the label creates a gas-tight vapour barrier that supports dry storage and largely reduces clumping of hygroscopic powders. The reverse is coated with a very strong adhesive that sticks to most customary packaging materials, including surfaces dusted with fine powder, slightly moist or frozen, where conventional labels and tapes often detach. The printable face remains legible after wiping and can be inscribed with ballpoint pen, pencil or felt-tip marker, enabling use both as a hermetic seal and as a documented control mark for sampling date, approval status and checker name. Offered by manufacturer Bürkle on practical rolls with cross perforation for single-label removal, the standard size is 95 x 95 mm. Pack size is one roll.

Questions about close-it control seal, 95x95 mm, blue
What is this article?
close-it control seal, 95x95 mm, blue is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Labels & marking (other), inside Labels, signs & marking, in Lab safety equipment.
This shelf is the labelling article that is not a tape, a GHS stock label or a sign: tags, ties, printable inserts. The question is still whether the mark survives the temperature and the chemical it will meet.
A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
