Description

close-it closure seal, 95 x 95 mm, red is a specialised sealing label for secure closure after sampling from sacks, cartons, big bags and similar bulk containers. When sampling lances create openings, free-flowing bulk solids can spill out; this red close-it seal closes those holes quickly and reliably. Manufactured in a sandwich construction of aluminium and paper, the label forms a gas-tight vapour barrier that helps limit moisture ingress and largely prevents clumping of hygroscopic powders. The reverse side carries a high-strength adhesive that bonds to most common packaging surfaces, including those dusted with fine powder, slightly moist or even frozen—conditions where ordinary labels often fail. Each seal is wipe-resistant and can be marked with ballpoint pen, pencil or felt-tip marker, making it suitable both as a hermetic closure and as a control seal for quality records such as sampling date, release status and inspector name. Supplied from manufacturer Bürkle on handy rolls, individual labels tear off cleanly at the cross perforation. Standard size is 95 x 95 mm; pack unit is one roll.

Questions about close-it control seal, 95x95 mm, red

What is this article?

close-it control seal, 95x95 mm, red is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Labels & marking (other), inside Labels, signs & marking, in Lab safety equipment.

This shelf is the labelling article that is not a tape, a GHS stock label or a sign: tags, ties, printable inserts. The question is still whether the mark survives the temperature and the chemical it will meet.

A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
