Description

close-it Maxi closure seal, 150 × 150 mm, blue is a large-format sealing label developed to close sampling holes and longer tears in sacks, cartons, big bags and similar bulk containers. After lance sampling, free-flowing solids can spill out; this seal stops that reliably. Built as an aluminium/paper sandwich, it forms a gas-tight vapour barrier that also helps limit clumping of hygroscopic powders. The blue pre-printed face is wipe-proof and can be marked with ballpoint, pencil or felt-tip pen, so each seal doubles as a quality-control record for sampling date, release status and inspector name. A high-strength adhesive on the reverse bonds to most common packaging surfaces, including those dusted with fine powder, slightly moist or even frozen, where ordinary labels often fail. Labels are supplied on a handy roll and tear off individually at the cross perforation. The Maxi format from manufacturer Bürkle is intended for larger openings. Pack size is one roll; net weight 1,194 kg.

Questions about close-it maxi control seal, 150x150 mm, blue

What is this article?

close-it maxi control seal, 150x150 mm, blue is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Labels & marking (other), inside Labels, signs & marking, in Lab safety equipment.

This shelf is the labelling article that is not a tape, a GHS stock label or a sign: tags, ties, printable inserts. The question is still whether the mark survives the temperature and the chemical it will meet.

A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
