It offers a maximum load of 0,25 kg with a readability of 0,000001 kg and a round weighing pan of 105 mm diameter. The detachable display unit and separate platform from manufacturer Kern provide maximum flexibility, making the balance ideal for use in glove boxes or under fume hoods when weighing toxic, volatile or contaminated substances. PRE-TARE enables manual pre-deduction of a known container weight for fill-quantity control. Freely programmable weighing units support direct readout in specialised units such as g/m for thread length or g/m² for paper weight. A spirit level and adjustable feet allow exact levelling for accurate results. A draft shield is included as standard, forming a weighing chamber of 146 × 146 × 80 mm, and a protective working cover is supplied with the instrument for everyday laboratory use.
