Description
InLab 731 ISM conductivity sensor is a robust laboratory electrode engineered for medium to high conductivity measurements. It combines a very durable epoxy shaft with a 4-pole graphite cell offering a cell constant of 0,57 cm⁻¹ and a measuring range of 0,01 to 1000 µS/cm. Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) stores sensor data, calibration values and maximum temperature directly in the sensor and transfers them automatically to the meter on connection, simplifying workflow and reducing handling errors. The fixed cable terminates in a Mini-DIN plug and the sensor is ideally matched to SevenCompact and SevenMulti instruments. Shaft length is 120 mm and shaft diameter is 12 mm, ensuring straightforward integration into standard laboratory vessels and holders. Supplied as 1 pc from manufacturer Mettler-Toledo OnLine, this conductivity sensor delivers reliable performance for routine electrochemical analysis where medium-to-high conductivity determination is required. Its robust construction supports extended service life under typical laboratory conditions while maintaining measurement consistency across repeated calibrations and sample series.

Questions about Cond probe InLab 731-ISM
What is this article?
Cond probe InLab 731-ISM is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Mettler-Toledo OnLine for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
