Description

CPC coupling in POM, female design with integrated valve and hose barb Ø 6,5 mm, is a quick-disconnect connector for liquids, gases, compressed air and vacuum. Compact build, high flow capacity, one-hand operation and a secure O-ring seal deliver a reliably tight joint under demanding laboratory and process conditions. Within the same flow size, all female couplings and male nipples mate interchangeably. The spring and locking elements are stainless steel V4A; the POM body uses a standard Buna-N seal. At 20 °C the working range extends from vacuum to 10 bar, with an operating temperature span of −40 °C to +80 °C. Push the halves together and they latch automatically while the valves open; on one-hand release the valves close automatically so leakage is prevented. Suitable for connecting and separating hoses, instruments, apparatus and containers where space is limited and handling must stay simple. This coupling from manufacturer Bürkle is supplied as a single piece for fluid-handling setups that need proven reliability and clean disconnect behaviour.

Questions about CPC coupling, POM, female, w/ valve, nozzle Ø6,5mm

What is this article?

CPC coupling, POM, female, w/ valve, nozzle Ø6,5mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
