Description
CPC coupling PP, female, with valve, 1/4'' NPT is a quick-disconnect connector engineered for fast, secure linking of liquid, gas, compressed-air and vacuum lines. The polypropylene body with standard EPDM seal provides a dependable, leak-tight O-ring joint, while the stainless steel V4A spring and lock deliver robust latching. As a valved female coupling with 1/4'' NPT thread, it mates with matching male nipples of the same flow size; parts click together automatically and open the internal valves, then close them on one-handed disconnection so leakage is prevented. At 20 °C the PP version is rated up to 8 bar, with an operating temperature range from 0 °C to +110 °C. Compact dimensions, high flow capacity and straightforward handling make these Bürkle quick couplings well suited to connecting and separating hoses, instruments, apparatus and containers in laboratory and process installations. Supplied as a single piece for flexible system build-up and maintenance.

Questions about CPC coupling, PP, female, w/ valve, 1/4'' NPT
What is this article?
CPC coupling, PP, female, w/ valve, 1/4'' NPT is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
