Description

CPC coupling, PP, male, with valve and hose barb Ø9,5 mm provides a fast, secure quick-connect solution for liquids, gases, compressed air and vacuum. The polypropylene body is paired with a standard EPDM O-ring seal for dependable tightness, and the spring/locking elements are stainless steel V4A. Male and female parts of the same flow size mate interchangeably, supporting compact installations with high flow and simple one-hand handling. At 20 °C the operating pressure reaches up to 8 bar; the operating temperature range is 0 °C to +110 °C. When the halves are pushed together they latch automatically and open the valves; on one-hand disconnection the valves close automatically, eliminating leakage. Ideal for connecting or separating hoses, devices, apparatus and containers, this coupling from manufacturer Bürkle combines proven reliability with an attractive, space-saving design for laboratory and technical applications. Supplied as a single piece for straightforward integration into fluid-handling setups.

This article is part of Stopcocks & valves, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about CPC coupling, PP, male, w/ valve, nozzle Ø 9,5 mm

What is this article?

CPC coupling, PP, male, w/ valve, nozzle Ø 9,5 mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
