Description

Cryotubes with screw cap Standard Line are sterile 4,5 ml sample vessels designed for reliable cryogenic storage and routine laboratory handling. Each tube is moulded from polypropylene with an HDPE screw cap, using high-quality medical-grade plastic conforming to USP Class VI. The external-thread design closes leak-tight at a three-quarter turn and seals fully at a complete turn, supporting secure containment during freezing, transport and thawing. Working temperature spans −196 °C to 40 °C, making the vessels suitable for liquid-nitrogen vapour-phase storage as well as ambient bench work. Batches are tested DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free and sterilised by gamma irradiation, with a sterilisation certificate available for download. Supplied from manufacturer Labbox in resealable bags, the pack of 10 pieces suits molecular biology, biobanking and clinical sample workflows where clean, tightly sealed cryovials are essential. The compact format and consistent closure behaviour help laboratories standardise cold-chain sample handling without compromising integrity.

Questions about Cryotube with screw cap, sterile, Standard Line, 4,5 ml, 10 pcs

What is this article?

Cryotube with screw cap, sterile, Standard Line, 4,5 ml, 10 pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenic vials & tubes, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.

A cryogenic vial is a small tube with a seal made for very low temperatures. Internal and external threads differ. A vial that will see liquid nitrogen has to be rated for it, and it should not be overfilled, because trapped liquid expands. The cap insert is part of the seal.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
