Detectable SteriPlast® scoop, blue polystyrene, sterile, 100 ml is a disposable sampling scoop suited to powders, granules and pastes. It offers a nominal volume of 100 ml (0,1 l) and a length of 205 mm for practical handling during routine sampling and transfer. Production, assembly and packaging take place under cleanroom class 7, after which each scoop is individually packed and gamma-ray sterilised. The bright blue shade supports quick visual spotting, while a dedicated additive in the material enables detection by metal detectors, X-ray equipment or colour scanners, allowing plastic pieces to be removed via conventional foreign-body control systems. The scoops comply with EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and can be used within HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management schemes.
