Description

Detectable scoop SteriPlast® is a sterile blue polystyrene (PS) sampling scoop offering a nominal volume of 0,5 l and a length of 280 mm for single-use transfer of powders, granules and pastes. Each scoop is produced, assembled and packed under cleanroom class 7 conditions, then individually wrapped and gamma-irradiated to support sterile disposable workflows. The blue polymer contains a special additive that makes the scoop visible to metal detectors, X-ray systems and colour scanners, so that even plastic fragments can be rejected by standard foreign-body inspection lines. Compliance-oriented design follows EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and fits HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management concepts. Intended for food, feed and pharmaceutical environments, these larger detectable scoops from manufacturer Bürkle combine cleanroom manufacture with practical detectability for hygienic bulk sampling. Available in packs of 10 pieces for routine laboratory and production use.

Questions about Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 500 ml

What is this article?

Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 500 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.

A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.

The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
