Digital force gauge SAUTER FS 2-20 is a premium instrument with an integrated measuring cell for tensile and compressive force applications, plus connection options for external strain-gauge cells. Values appear in real time on the multifunctional 3,5'' touchscreen, whether the unit is used mobile for quick checks or fixed in a test stand or production line. Data can be sent via the integrated USB interface to a PC or laptop for further processing; the same port also supplies power. The standard configuration provides two measuring channels for external force sensors and can be expanded later from two to four. When external channels are in use, the internal cell is deactivated for as long as an external cell remains connected. The gauge is compatible with 4-wire and 6-wire strain-gauge sensors; sensor-specific data are stored directly in the connector. Two-point adjustment with weights or numerical adjustment is supported. Adjustable SI units include kg, N, kN, mN, MN, Nm, kNm and mNm. Track, peak-value and tolerance functions, 16 GB internal memory and mounting compatibility with all SAUTER test stands complete the feature set.
