Description
Drum heater P-Series rapidLine 120 L is a flexible jacket heater for controlled warming of 105–120 L drums in laboratory, pilot-plant and industrial settings. It runs on 230 VAC at a rated power of 960 W and supports a maximum permissible operating temperature of 90 °C. The outer shell is water-repellent polyester fabric, fastened with adjustable lashing straps, buckles and securing bands for drum circumferences of 1.400–1,700 mm. Overall height is 630 mm and net weight is 5,8 kg. The design provides particularly uniform heat distribution and heat input across the vessel wall. Continuous operation together with a temperature controller is always required; the matching controller W6706-1156 is specified for this model. For efficient heat-up an optional insulating lid is recommended, while heat losses through the container base should be reduced by the user, for example with an insulating underlay. Built to protection class II and IP54 by manufacturer Winkler, the heater is intended for sheltered use; outdoors it should be shielded from direct weather. An EX version is also available.

Questions about Drum heater P-Series rapidLine 120L 230V 960W Tmax. 90°C
What is this article?
Drum heater P-Series rapidLine 120L 230V 960W Tmax. 90°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
